The first “official” video that Jelle and yours truly ever made was a stop-motion flick we called “A haircut and a shave sir” where I gave our handsome Schorem Barbier patron Karel, you guessed it, a haircut and a shave…

The reason we did a stop-motion video is as simple as it is now hard to believe… We didn’t have money for a videocamera and phones didn’t record videos yet (😱😱)

We’ve learned SO MUCH in the last decade BUT… That first video looks as cool today as the day we posted it for the very first time (check it out on our Reuzel YouTube channel), it was and still is such a landmark in Schorem history and (unlike me, Rob) it hasn’t lost any of it’s timeless charm…

I remember picking “WORKING MAN” by ‪@OfficialBobWayne‬ and ‪@sheltonhankwilliamsiii8609‬ as tune which became kind of the shop’s anthem just like Bob became a good friend of myseld and the barbershop through the years…

When Karel, who is still as handsome as he was back then, called me I could take of his beard Jelle and me knew right away we wanted to re-create that same video, check em both out and let me know what you think…
