But once I finished all three dresses, I realized that wouldn’t be fair… because they’re not trying to do the same job.

Instead, each one fills a different gap in my winter wardrobe:

one feels polished and put-together
one is casual but still intentional
and one is pure comfort

And honestly? That’s a much more useful way to think about patterns.
