Just one minor detail at 41:20 about the old airport.
Southerly winds were not a problem as departing to the south (runway 17) had no obstacle or terrain limitations. The runway was downhill, 1,7% downslope if I remember correctly. It was beneficial to use runway 17 even with a tailwind, as performance calculations would give no weight penalty.
The problem was when there was strong northerly wind, exceeding tailwind limitations for runway 17, together with high temperatures, reducing available performance. Runway 35 had upslope, with a hill off the departure end, incurring high weight penalties. Olympic air would book limited passengers onto the return flights based on experience and a safe case scenario. Crews would give maximum allowed takeoff mass calculated at the time of arrival using current ambient conditions, and fuel on arrival. Any available difference of takeoff mass to maximum calculated would then allow any "lucky" standby passenger to join the flight.
