Grab a cocoa and join me as I explain how some of "The Express Lift Company" elevator logic circuits work. Beginners are welcome, as I explain everything from absolute basics using diagrams and then onto the fantastic EVERYCIRCUIT animated circuit designer and tester.
Ok, maybe old Lift logic circuits are not everyone's cup of tea, and it is one of my longest videos. Normally I try to keep them well under 15 minutes, but for people that want to know how the genius's from the 1960s and 70s design some of the circuits that make lifts work before microprocessors arrived on scene, then THIS IS FOR YOU!!
Lift circuits are normally MASSIVE involving hundreds of relays, timers and mechanical floor selector systems, but here I'm keeping everything to a minimum so that even beginners can understand. This means the circuits shown here are a fraction of the real system.

("late night?" - I recorded it very late at night, so I had to contain my excitement from constructing these wicked circuits else I'd have woken up mrchay and wife HAHA!)
