पीने के लिए साफ पानी की भी क्या लोग अपेक्षा नहीं कर सकते। इंदौर में जिस तरह गंदा पानी पीकर पंद्रह लोग मर गए वह तो यही बताता है कि जनता को ऐसी कोई अपेक्षा नहीं करना चाहिए जिसकी वजह से अधिकारियों और मंत्रियों को परेशानी हो। पंद्रह लोगों की मौत भी मंत्री को संवेदनशील नहीं बना पाई। नगर विकास मंत्री कैलाश विजय वर्गीय जिस तरह की भाषा बोल रहे हैं वह किसी भी सभ्य समाज में स्वीकार्य नहीं हो सकती। पर इंदौर के लोग ऐसे व्यक्ति को अपना जनप्रतिनिधि चुनने की क़ीमत चुका रहे हैं। इंदौर के लोगों की यह भी गलती है कि उन्होंने भाजपा से यह अपेक्षा की कि वह संवेदनशील लोगों को टिकट देगी। या कम से कम ऐसे लोगों को नियंत्रण में रखेगी। पर मतदाता को दोनों स्तर पर निराशा हुई। अब राज्य सरकार की सारी कोशिश यह है कि किसी तरह यह मुद्दा पृष्ठभूमि में जाए । दोषी को सजा देने का कोई प्रयास नज़र नहीं आता।

It is also the mistake of the people of Indore that they expected BJP to give tickets to sensitive people. Or at least will keep such people under control. But the voters were disappointed at both levels. Now the entire effort of the state government is to somehow push this issue into the background. There doesn't seem to be any effort to punish the culprit.
