My contribution to Synth History on YouTube (what a great way to learn about the synths of yesteryear). These are all the sequences I know of that are associated with Yamaha's Public Domain library for the SY99. There is 37 MINUTES of music here! I have not heard demos of this musical quality from any other synth. I have taken out the drum tracks and a couple voice-over samples so that you can clearly hear the raw mucial sounds. Take note that one of the original purposes was to show off samples for the Sample RAM but there is still plenty of expressive FM(AFM) sound here.
