Welcome back to our channel 🚐
This week we are heading into the city of Porto and its a jam-packed day! We started off with a coffee and cake from one of the busiest cafes around and then poked our heads into the Sao Bento Train Station with its beautiul blue and white azulejo (tiles) panels. We then make our way into the historic centre and have a wander around the Cathedral and the Bishops Palace before crossing over the Pont Luiz 1 bridge and taking the cable car down to the Gaia waterfront. We stopped for lunch and tried the traditional Franceshina sandwich and Mark had his firsts port tasting. After that we walked up to the Graham’s Port Lodge where I had booked a Tour around this working port cellar that dates back to 1890 and Mark got to taste 3 of their classic ports, and a couple of freebies.
