Don’t get the hype? Come see for yourself on June 14 at the Washington Park Reservoir grand opening party.

We’re celebrating the new park space with tours, giveaways, vendor booths, and more.

The Portland Water Bureau, part of Portland Public Works, replaced reservoirs built in 1894 with a new 12.4-million-gallon, underground reservoir. For the first time in decades, parkgoers will be able to enjoy the space, which includes two reflecting pools, a wildlife habitat area, walking paths, and restored historic features.
