Описание: now this was the last tower we all rang at for the cathedral practice from 6 o clock till 7 30 pm my favoret cathedral which i used to come and ring here on a sunday afternoons when it was the sunday afternnoon services from 1 30 till 3pm service about 20 year ago i used to ring here sunday mornings quarter to 10 till 10 20 then the great george bell for the Easter sunday morning services i dont do Easter ringing no more nowhere to shop or eat or get a drink before returning home to Halifax to cold windy in that mounth yes i still will do the st georges day at 6pm ringing great george 23 times thats ok for me and again july eukerist sunday morning services only if i can get over here by my friends car no trains to get me here before 10 am all the trains have changed since then now once i got a train to liverpool one july and changed at manchester oxford road the train what should have got me into liverpool by 10 o clock got cancelled so i had to get a taxie from manchester oxford road with another lady it cost us 50 pound each she was going to the air port on holiday my dad wasnt very happy with me i wont do that again even i was upset that i could have missed ringing the great george bell because it only rings for 5 mins i love the noise of the great george bell nice noise nice sound this is the july the ehukerist sunday morning services that i am on about cant come at christmas day to ring the great george no transport everybody stays at home with there famileys children sisters brothers i really enjoyed hearing all the bells ringing by stuart mills sorry i didnt come up to ring appologise the ropes are far to high up for me the front ones the back bell ropes touch the floor bigger bells on bigger wheels the bells are so difficult to ring and handle i have rung the big tenor 4 tons bell but with another rope being strapped to the tenor bell so the bellringer who rings the 12th bell rings on the top box and i rang on another box on the bottom of the circlular ring needs 2 people to turn this big bell in to call changes or what ever comes some people can ring the big tenor 12 bell by them selfs with out strapping the other rope these are bigger stronger people or taller people who could manage this ok you all did very very well the end of the trip time to go home a very nice full day out thanks for all the tower ringing in liverpool mersyside
