The Moza Slypod Pro is a motorized monopod-style camera slider that can be controlled via a phone app. I've been testing this one out for several months, and here I show you what it is, what it can do, and how it works.

The Slypod Pro is basically a carbon fiber monopod with a built in battery and motor that can be driven by an app or a couple of buttons on the device itself. The Slypod supports camera rigs up to 13.2 pounds for vertical lifts, and about 7 pounds for horizontal ones. The Moza Master app is available for Android and iPhones and controls the Slypod and a variety of different gimbal heads, too.

My biggest problem with the Slypod is the motor noise; it's not terrible, but it does create a gritty whine, especially at high speeds.
