Black cable controls cyan tube.
Red cable controls yellow tube.
Let L be the displacement of the yellow tube.
L = C + Y
C: displacement of the cyan tube relative to the white tube (the base).
Y: displacement of the yellow tube relative to the cyan tube.
Approximately, Y = C/2; so L = 1.5C
