The border is how The PS4 Pro shows the game on my TV, it can be all direction zoomed on my TV but the PS4 Pro records it like this, I have not seen this on any other game they generally allow you to stretch the image to fit the screen, it doesn't seem to have this available in the settings,

There is no commentry in this video as it is so hectic it would almost be impossible to add live commentary as i am learning the new controls for this game that just came out 20/4/2018,

After maiking this video i thought the stranger was dead having a massive rock fall on you tends to do that, but there is another part after a cutscene similar to the 1st part of this video,

The stranger goes back up to full health again just dodge his attacks and block with the shield and avoid the ice attack,

After breaking his neck that is definately the last time we see the stranger,

This game in resolution mode pushes the PS4 Pro 7116B harder than any other game i have played, and the fan runs the loudest since i got the console, and i am not running it in Boost Mode either,

The game has 2 settings in the PS4 Pro,
Resolution = renders the game at 2160p checkerboard resolution and supesamples if your TV is not 4K, this is the setting i used for this video,

Performance = Renders the game at 1080p i will need to check the frame rate this setting runs at,


A few tips that might help with this boss are,

Use you axe when you can as it deals more damage, don't throw it though just attack the stranger with it with R1 which gives the sequence of melee attacks seen in the video,

Learn to block attacks with your shield but you have to press L1 well before the attack otherwise it's to late,

It may look like i block the ice attacks with the shield but i don't you need to roll or side step to avoid these,

Also you could lower the difficulty setting in the menu system mid gameplay,

Take your time there is no time limit just run around well away from him to avoid his attacks,

I also set the buttons to hold X to run that's why he dodges sideways and then runs it's the way they set it up,


The best tip so far for this game is explore all the areas around you, Atreus shows the main story by standing in that area but you can still check forks in the road and pick up extra loot,

The first boss was a massive troll where you have to throw your axe from a distance to avoid being smushed in 3 hits by it,

I think these first encounters are difficult to push you to learn the controls early so the game gets more fun if you don't have to think about the buttons,

You health doesn't build back up like normal games if you get injured it stay low unless you pickup health potions,

Also you can't jump it seems strange but you can't unless the game wants you to and specific parts,
