The 10mm hex in these plugs are easily chewed out, making them very difficult to remove. He covers the engineering failure in using that style of plug and recommends a range of tools you can buy to deal with the problem.
This video shows how to make your own tool to reliably get them out, even if they are a bit busted. Two ways of making a tool is featured, one a simple DIY project and the other a machining exercise using the HAFCO HM45 milling machine and the AL336 lathe.
