X-MEN: CHILDREN OF THE ATOM, also known as XCOTA is a fighting game originally released by Capcom in the year 1994 for Arcade.
This was the first partnership between Marvel and Capcom to produce a fighting game, and this was the first game in the series that would become known as Marvel vs. Capcom, with the special appearance of the secret character Akuma, from the Street Fighter series.
It was also ported to Playstation 1, Saturn, PC, and more recently to Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics.
