Описание: Welcome to SEDF 704: Diversity in Adolescent Development. This lecture focuses on what drives adolescent motivation—how students develop goals, persist through setbacks, and navigate success and failure. Drawing on major motivational theories - Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, Expectancy Value Theory (EVT), Situated Expectancy Value Theory (SEVT), Attribution Theory, Growth Mindset, and Self-Determination Theory - we’ll also look at how identity, culture, and lived experience shape what students value and how they stay engaged in school.
