Awards 2018 at Lochgilphead High School

This is Mrs Carter's introduction to the video:

So, this is the part of the evening when we take time to look at the past year in the life of our school and think about some of the experiences and achievements that do not perhaps get a mention within the presentations tonight.
We have had an incredibly busy, productive, fun and at times challenging year.
One of the ways that we have shown off our achievements and activities this year has been through use of our school website and facebook page and if you have not been accessing these to keep up to speed, I would urge that you do so. Mr Smith and Mrs MacDonald have worked really hard to fill our Facebook with pictures and stories throughout the year and the presentation that you are about to see draws largely on the photos that have been shared there.
This is a snapshot of what has happened since last August. As we know from social media, life is about more than pictures and there are events and activities that are not included here, such as our fantastic Christmas concert, the amazing trip to Iceland last summer, and the golf championship this past Monday which was a bit too late to be included in this project, which was put together singlehandedly by S5 pupil Cameron Garrett.
