The U.S. military has suffered a double setback in its operations against Yemen’s Houthi rebels. First, another MQ-9 Reaper spy drone was downed — marking the seventh such loss since March 15. Meanwhile, a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet also fell into the sea from the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier, reportedly during evasive maneuvers against a Houthi missile and drone attack. This is the second F/A-18 lost from the Truman in less than six months, adding to mounting U.S. military losses.
