What's up!
In today's episode the both of us try out some Pakistani/Indian snacks that we picked up at one of Hong Kong's most famous buildings for us ethnic minorities - Chung King Mansions in Tsim Sha Tsui!
The building (actually a collection of different blocks) is very famous around the world but one of the many reasons that it is - is because it is the home away from home for many South Asians who first move to the city. Therefore, there are a lot very authentic Indian restaurants, and stores that sell product, food, ingredients, knick-knacks from India, Pakistan, Nepal, etc.
Sofia and I went to Chung King the "provisions store" found on the ground floor which I've been going to since I was her age. This is where my mom (Sofia's grandma) would get all our essential spices for the delicious food she made for us at home.
Today we tried:
1. Papadom Chips
2. Soystix
3. Samosas (These came ready to eat in a packet! What?!)
4. Rusk
5. Mathri
