To coincide with International Women’s Day, Ciarb delivered the first webinar of a two-part webinar series on careers in arbitration and mediation.
The first webinar explored how arbitrators can secure arbitration appointments as a neutral. Everyone has a role to play in promoting diversity and inclusion and making the process of securing appointments as a neutral as fair and transparent as possible. This webinar explored how equity and access determine who gets appointed, with a focus on women in arbitration. Participants gained a clear understanding of the pathways to appointments, the decision-making dynamics at play, and the steps individuals and institutions can take to open doors to opportunity.
