The Polygon Cascade is possibly one of my favorite bikes we sell here at Bicycles Online because it offers something that not many other bikes can claim to do. It is a well-held notion that to get a good quality mountain bike with disc brakes you need to spend a lot. Well the Cascade breaks this mold. For most people the Cascade will be their first bike, a bike they use daily as a commuter or on the weekend with the family and no doubt one that the kids will end up using one day too. It's really the essence of why we started Bikes Online, we wanted to provide great quality, well-designed bikes at prices never seen before in the market.

That rings true for this year's Polygon Cascade, it now borrows much of the technology from last year's more expensive, Polygon Premier range - including the lighter weight alloy frame. This really sets the Cascade apart from its competitors, which can often weigh much more, slowing you down. The frame also features mounts for a rack and mudguards making the Cascade an adaptable ride for both commuters and mountain bikes alike.

We know that there is often a budget to consider when buying a bike, but with our unique business model we are able to include brand name components and features at price points never thought possible before.

In all 3 models, the entry-level Cascade 2, the Cascade 3, and the Cascade 4 utilise disc brakes, ensuring great stopping power in all conditions. The off-road ability of the Cascade is further enhanced by a quality brand name Suntour fork, which smooths out the chatter on the trail and provides more comfort while commuting.

The drivetrain is what differentiates between the models, the Cascade 2 features the well known Shimano gears for a 21 speed drivetrain.

The Cascade 3 see’s an upgrade in shifting to the Shimano Tourney TY300, still a 21 speed drivetrain, however there are also improvements made to some of the finishing kit too, with an improved seat post and saddle.

The Cascade 4 sees a big step up in braking thanks to a set of hydraulic disc brakes, offering more power and control when you need it most. The drivetrain also has more range with an upgraded Shimano Tourney 24 speed drivetrain, offering more range and cleaner shifting.

The great aluminum frame combined with reliable brand name components makes the Polygon Cascade the clear bike of choice for any entry-level mountain biker or for those who just want a durable, do it all bike.
