With the sled fleet growing and them all being bigger bores...I truly missed the lighter feel and zing of the 650. Last season feedback was about a 60/40 split on whether or not to swap the 650 engine for something else, well most of you were right and this VR1 build was just right as it was. I had the chance to sell the Indy Specialty 862cc engine and put some money back in my pocket so that's what I did. That was a fun and insightful project, but the 650 is back where it belongs...for now
