Описание: i dug this up from the deepest places of my archives. this song is called "caged bird" and i wrote it after the San Francisco Police Department and the FBI swarmed onto my San Francisco apartment in May of 2013 year when I had come under suspicion of being a terrorist because of how politically outspoken I had been about my opinions on a number of issues we were facing at that time as a nation. I believe that the color of my skin also had something to do with why the San Francisco Bomb Squad descended on my apartment that day in May - they found nothing, and I never got an apology. So, this song is what came out of that incident. I dedicated it to Maya Angelou, but it's secretly a song that I wrote for President Obama. Leave comments :)
