Описание: Today we’re in Birmingham, finally ticking off one of the most talked-about fish and chip shops in the city: Dad’s Lane Chippy.

This is a proper community institution. Family-run, proudly independent, and serving locals for 57 years. We’ve tried to come here multiple times before and failed, but today… we finally made it through the doors.

We ordered a large cod and chips with curry sauce, plus an apple crumble and custard. But the real curveball? A completely unexpected dessert made from the frothy off-cuts of making halloumi. Yes, really. And somehow, it ended up being one of the highlights of the entire visit.
