Описание: After 3 months, 12 cities, and hundreds of conversations…the On Healing book tour officially comes to a close. 💫

What started as a traditional launch quickly & surprisingly evolved into a national listening tour—on the future of healthcare, longevity, & science-backed wellness.

From New York to San Francisco, Boston to Miami, Denver to Tucson—I had the privilege of connecting with communities across the country. I also heard from readers in Europe, Latin America, Africa, Asia, & Australia. 

Health & wellness is, indeed, global. 🌎

It unites us at a time when there is so much division.

As a physician trained in integrative medicine, an epidemiologist grounded in data, and a strategist working at the intersection of science, AI, & care delivery, these conversations reaffirmed why I do this work.

A clear message emerged: people are disillusioned—not just by a broken healthcare system, but also by the hype-driven, pseudoscience-heavy products being offered in its place.

From patients/users: frustration at wellness & diagnostic solutions that overpromise, mislead, or repackage old models with “AI/tech" vapor.

From healthcare professionals: it isn’t EMRs or workload, it's toxic culture driving burnout (& physician shortages/moving out of clinical roles). Healing the healers & the workplace must be part of the conversation.

From both investors & founders: a hunger to build something better & a desire to understand the true pain points & barriers to execution.

From all: hope & a deep drive to envision something better, the kind that has always fueled the best innovation.

It’s never been a more urgent time to create this evidence-informed, lifestyle medicine–centered ecosystem—one that’s scalable, self-sustaining, & rebuilds trust. One built for the norm we will expect 5 years from now.

💡 What might that look like?
~AI trained on the best clinical evidence + lifestyle/integrative medicine CPGs
~Individual medical histories (precision medicine)
~Wearables (validated) + (focused) lab testing
~Human-centered, high-empathy (& elegant) design
~Ethical feedback loops to inform the system itself, as agentic AI nears

This ecosystem doesn’t yet exist. But it will. The tools are indeed emerging.

We need founders willing to learn from what hasn't worked, & the skills to iterate until the offering is truly ready for roll-out. Not a moment earlier. 

We need investors who can see through the hype & double down on real solutions. 

Overpromising and underdelivering is what the current system does best.

Let’s not replicate it. 

It may require going back to the drawing board. But that’s where real innovation begins.
