Here I am with the 2nd part of the MANDALA ART TUTORIALS FOR BEGINNERS .
Below are the strategy and details of the #mandalaarttutorials :

STRATEGY:

In this tutorial series ,we WONT rush into complex designs, as of now. We will be starting with simple mandala designs and then slowly and gradually we will proceed towards the Advance level.

In each and every tutorial, first we will look into the Basic patterns and shapes of the MANDALA and then we will be using "only" those patterns to make the Mandala art. (I thought it to be the easiest way in which you can be introduced to different mandala patterns and shapes. In each video you will be introduced to the new patterns and also revise some of the old ones which will be used repetitively)


PROCESS:

IDENTIFYING THE CENTER: First measure the length and breadth of your sheet and mark the "half" of these lengths and breadths on the paper. The point at which these marked lines intersect, is the center.

MAKING THE GRID:

1. Placing the mid point of the "PROTRACTOR" on the marked center, mark 10degrees each along the protractor making a circular pattern.

2. Using the ruler, join the two opposite marked points crossing the center. Like this we will be having 36lines in total, all intersecting each other at the center.

3.start with making the circles using the center. You can make any number of circles as per your desired design.
Here I made 15 circles of the radius measuring - 0.6cm, 0.9cm, 1.5cm, 1.7cm, 2.1cm, 2.3cm, 4.0cm, 4.5cm 4.7cm, 5.0cm, 5.2cm, 5.6cm, 8.2cm, 8.4cm and 9.5cm each from the center.

These lines and circles act as a GRID and helps in making our Mandala symmetrical.
