Rare footage of the moment pink salmon spawn, depositing the eggs and milt into the redd. This five second event is the culmination of the salmons long journey out to sea and back again. After this the salmon die and the eggs hatch and start the cycle all over again. Capturing this footage has taken me years of honing my skills and observing the salmon behavior at this critical time.
