The Thin Red Line (1998) Reaction & Review! FIRST TIME WATCHING!!

Описание: The Thin Red Line was an amazing film by Terrance Malick. It was way more artsy and metaphorical than I expected. It explored themes of existentialism, self-reflection, the meaning and purpose of life, nature, the chain of command and the cost of war. The performances were great, the production design was of the highest caliber, the imagery was hauntingly beautiful. I don’t think this is a movie that can only be watched once. I didn’t catch all the metaphors for sure and I will be re-watching it sometime in the future. This film gave me a lot to think about. Thank you for the recommendation.
