Описание: The short documentary is part of the research studies on social inclusion in multiple spheres, which aimed to identify the constraints socially disadvantaged groups face, such as the scheduled castes in India, in accessing publicly supported services in education, health, and government programmes. The studies used a mixed methodology approach to conduct research across states in India, including those in the north, south, west, and central regions. This short documentary was developed by Dr Nidhi S. Sabharwal and the crew team during her time at the Indian Institute of Dalit Studies in New Delhi. Nidhi, currently at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration, is an accomplished academic working on issues around caste and educational inequalities in India. She is also a Commission member of the Lancet Commission on Racism and Child Health.
