I never expected to feel so confused right before this trip. I’ve dreamed of going to Korea for years, and it always felt a little impossible. Even after buying plane tickets and booking hotels, it didn’t feel real — almost like I imagined all of it. But then, in the days leading up to my flight, something shifted. Reality hit… hard.
This week was a rollercoaster. I prepped, packed, and panicked a little for my first-ever trip to Korea and my first time flying so far away from home. I was scared about the flight, the logistics, and honestly? I was terrified that the Korea I fell in love with from afar wouldn’t feel the same in real life.
Between excitement and anxiety, I tried to stay organized with travel checklists, packing essentials, and helpful travel apps. But this vlog also captures the real mental struggles that can show up before a big trip — the doubts, the overwhelm, the “can I really do this?” moments.
Looking back now, with everything I’ve experienced since, I know that this trip healed me and changed me forever. The start was rough… but it was worth every second.
