A few years ago started thinking about what can I do to set myself apart from all the other Realtors in Tampa. I wanted to do something that set me apart of all the other Realtors but provided a lot of value for home buyers and sellers.

In life, I have always thought, “You win in life by helping other people”. I remembered years ago I started training Realtors in my office because it made me feel good. I figured if I can teach Realtors to become better at what they do, I can teach buyers how to buy homes and sellers how to get their home sold.

Teaching Buyers:
When I first got into the business I show my first client homes 6 different times. I thought it was such a waste of time and I wasn’t really providing any value to my home buyer except driving them around and opening up doors.

So I spent every waking hour (I was single at the time) getting educated on the housing market, the inventory, areas, types of homes, the quality of construction, different builders and how they build… Then I put together a very systematic approach (can you tell I was an engineer) to showing homes.

Within a matter of months, I knew more than 95% of the Realtors in my market.

With my new game plan and knowledge, I was getting my clients into their dream homes within 1 – 2 meeting. They basically answered a series of question and I knew where and what they wanted to buy. As a value-added Realtor, I worked with buyers for my first 2 ½ years. Talking to over 5,000 men and women that want to buy a home.

I have always thought outside the box and have been very good at marketing, so I had home buyers calling me day and night. I think too many Realtors do the same marketing that was working 20 and 30 years ago.

Teaching Sellers:
After 2 ½ years, I decided to look at the listing and selling homes. Because I worked and talked to so many buyers over the years I have a HUGE advantage over ALL the so-called “listing agents”. I knew what buyers wanted.

Knowing what buyers wanted and how they thought was huge as a real estate agent, but I need to learn more about marketing home – the right way.

I read every book and watched every webinar on marketing. Getting a home sold fast and for top dollar is very easy – if you know what to do.

So Why YouTube:
I have so much information in my head I thought I can use it to help buyers, sellers, and other Realtors.

As a Realtor in Tampa, I originally thought about just helping people in Tampa, but I wanted to help as many people as I could, so I decided not to only help buyers, sellers, and Realtors in Tampa, but all over the country.
