The interior of this new Ford Escape is more upscale than the past model with either a 4.2-inch centre screen or optional 8-inch Ford Sync system with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The Ford Escape small SUV is also available with a 12.3-inch digital screen in the increment cluster. Sold as a front wheel drive or all wheel drive Ford Escape in Canada, the Ford Escape Hybrid will also be available as FWD or AWD. The Ford Escape was one of the first compact utility vehicles sold in canada and for many years was the best selling model. Over th past few years other compact SUVs like the Toyota RAV4 and RAV4 hybrid, along with the Honda VR-V have taken top spot away from the Ford Escape.
