The Thick of It was a British satirical political drama running between 2005 and 2012, and it was about the ins and outs of UK politics, depicting those that run our most influential offices being too incompetent to do things properly or too immoral to really care about running things for the people they are supposed to represent
In this video, we're going to be looking at the show, how it predicted or highlighted several problems in the UK government, and why ultimately modern politics became so pathetically stupid that the show struggled to find reasons to keep going
