Testing out the new dual density shell mold by FR Skates!
Overall I like the skates; however I still prefer the FR1s at this point slightly.
TL;DW: Compared to the FR1 shell, the Neo shell is wider and flatter (less vertical toe room, more horizontal by about 1-1.2cm above first toe-end lace holes). Neo shell provides a lower ride height than FR1 (there is wheel groove in toe area of shell and approximately a centimeter or so lower). Neo cuff is more flexible than FR1 (more forward flex) and cuff strap sits lower than on FR1 (likely also contributing to increased forward flex). Neo liner seems to be a nice upgrade from stock FR1 liners. I wish they had a 7 hole frame mount system like FR1 instead of 5 hole. Overall I like the skates, have had lots of fun on them, and am happy I bought them.
