For years I assumed imported pickups couldn’t possibly be any good. If it wasn’t made in USA, I wouldn’t even try it. I believed posts on the forums that said they were mostly bad sounding copies of American products.
Then I investigated further and found certain features that were important to me (Modern Magnet stagger), which Fender does not offer and has no intention of offering later.
For what little they cost, decided to give them a try. Wow!
Sometimes it’s good to be proven wrong!
