I haven't felt this inspired for a long time. On Saturday, I started this project but only had a few hours, so I basically spent most of Sunday on it. I kinda wanted to upload it yesterday, but sv crushed a few times while rendering. So I cut the overlays and logo and put them in a new project and just rendered the base, which is how I usually do it, and then it worked. I'm actually glad I did it, since I could go slower and adjust it today how I wanted. So now the overlays aren't as rushed as they would have been yesterday. And today I also decided to add a bit of blur transition and text. I didn't plan for this project to have so much stuff going on, because the idea started as "a simple, fast project probably for IG or yt shorts". But the song just fits them too much to cut it to 1 minute.

Yesterday, I genuinely felt kinda high on inspiration. Like the scenes just clicked perfectly. And despite the program rendering error, the adding of the blur taking a long time and the weird white solid color transition thingy (that I think I forgot how to use), I actually enjoyed making this. And surprisingly, I think I'm kinda proud of this edit. I remember that when I was younger, I usually wrote in a description sth about the edit being, in some way, a bit bad or messy. And I think I only appreciated it and was glad about the edit when I rewatched it some time later. Then I realized that some of my edits were actually really well made. So that's progress. The way that I feel like about this edit. Tho I'm not the biggest fan of the text, and I feel weird about there not being any tittle in intro (cause while making base I saved it for last cause I wasn't sure if I wanted to include it, but when I found those parallels I knew I wanted to. But I ended up focusing on the parallels and for me it feels like it's missing the tittle). But overall I made this edit in 3 days, so even tho it's not 1 day, it still feels like an achievement. Especially since I have barely edited anything for the past 2 years. And when I watch this edit, even tho it's quite sad, I'm kinda happy? Like I created this, and they fit so well this sooong ahh

Also, I made this coloring??? Huh? I mean, it turned out I did had to use the extra settings I made, the "for too light" / "too dark" / "too pink" scenes. And I had to use it for most scenes. But still, the few colorings I experimented making in the past week are probably the best ones I have made so far.

I knew the description would turn out long, eh...

Thank you for bringing this fandom back and making me remember them and making me want to edit them again. I don't think I would have edited those last two edits if you hadn't watched the show and if we didn't talk about it. I hope you'll like this edit.

Btw, everytime I use a scene with Cassie's corpse I'm like it's kinda sick and twisted... and sad, but oh well, it just fits so well so- 😇


Also, while adding text, I had error 404 in my head because the whole time during editing, I thought it was "a glow" (didn't know "aglow" was a word 😭) and I thought it was a "violent roar" as in like a loud scream or sth and not "valiant"...
