Описание: തൃശൂർ മറ്റത്തൂർ പഞ്ചായത്തിൽ ബിജെപി അംഗങ്ങളുടെ പിന്തുണയോടെ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് സ്ഥാനം നേടിയ നടപടിയിൽ നിന്ന് കോൺഗ്രസ് പിന്മാറുന്നു. കെപിസിസി നേതൃത്വത്തിന്റെ ഇടപെടലിനെത്തുടർന്ന് വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് സ്ഥാനം രാജിവയ്ക്കാൻ കോൺഗ്രസ് അംഗങ്ങൾ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. 'പാർട്ടി എടുക്കുന്ന ഏതു തീരുമാനവും അനുസരിക്കാം എന്ന് ഞങ്ങൾ ഉറപ്പ് നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്' എന്ന് അംഗങ്ങൾ നേതൃത്വത്തിന് ഉറപ്പുനൽകി. ബിജെപി പിന്തുണ സ്വീകരിച്ചത് തെറ്റാണെന്ന പാർട്ടിയുടെ വിലയിരുത്തലിനെത്തുടർന്നാണ് ഈ നീക്കം.
