This is my long-term review of the Intend Infinity Enduro fork after one year on my Specialized Kenevo SL and Santa Cruz Bullit.
The stock optimized tune is great for its intended purpose: saving your hands and reducing fatigue on long rides. My preference tho is maximum support, so I explored a different path.
Covered in Video:
00:00 intro
00:53 The Chassis: The highlight of the fork , offering near zero friction even under load and massive fore aft stiffness.
04:14 Air Spring Journey: Why I struggled with the Linearizer (it was "way too progressive" ) and why my solution involves the largest volume cap and 135 PSI.
07:00 Damper Philosophy: Why I prefer a "sticky or dead feeling rebound" over the stock "poppy" setup. We'll look at the shim stack changes I made to achieve this feel.
10:23 Final Verdict: The fork is awesome for most riders. With additional tuning, it becomes freaking amazing for different preferences as well.
