Описание: This short movie was inspired by the book of the same name. It captures moments in time, on the North side of the Bonnechere River, in the Town of Renfrew, Ontario. The story tells of a vision to build a strong healthy community, with educated souls, who could contribute to the greater good. The people of the Town of Renfrew began with little more than land and a strong constitution. Over the decades the town has grown into an essential hub of the Ottawa Valley. Health care, education, commerce, industry and business all flourish in the home of the National Hockey Association, which morphed into the National Hockey League. Thanks to fellow historians at the Renfrew Public Library and Heritage Renfrew Archives, I am able to present this thirty-seven minute follow up to my first historic documentary, Now and Again. A full feature film will be completed and ready to view at Renfrew's 175th anniversary of incorporation, in 2033. Renfrew continues to flourish with willing workers and a vast array of volunteers, who contribute time, talent and finances to a myriad of organizations.
