In this video I demonstrate what it means to actually apply speed at the golf ball. This leads to a more efficient and fast swing versus a hard swing. You don't want to swing hard, you want to swing fast. When your speed is not accelerating into the golf ball, you lose distance. Determine whether you are putting more speed before or after the golf ball, or if you are not accelerating at all and maintaining lots of speed throughout a larger range. Use this drill to help work on applying speed correctly in your golf swing to start hitting it further with less effort.
