Описание: One of the best viewpoints in Madrid is located on the terrace of El Corte Inglés in Callao . From here you can see a magnificent view of the Gran Vía and the buildings of Plaza de España, as well as the historic area around the Royal Palace.

The terrace is located on the 9th floor of the building , where, in addition to the viewpoint, the Gourmet Experience Gran Vía gastronomic space opens . In this space there are restaurants of various kinds united and with freedom of movement between them. Next to it is the high-end products section typical of El Corte Inglés supermarkets.

Among the gastronomic offer of the Gourmet Experience we have traditional cuisine and other varieties. From oriental, pizzeria or hamburger to ice cream parlor, pastry shop or Basque pintxos from Imanol. The environment is nice to hang out. There are no waiters who serve you at the table, but you go to the desired bar yourself and take your order to the terrace or to the tables inside.

But the most notable thing for fans of Madrid is undoubtedly the view . Either behind the interior windows or from the open terrace. Perhaps the most spectacular is the photo obtained from the Carrión Building and its mythical Schweppes light. In the background, the towers of the Plaza de España : the Torre de Madrid and the Edificio España.

The widest is the view towards the dome of the Teatro Real , which looks very large from up there. To the right is the Royal Palace and to the left the towers of the Almudena Cathedral . The rest of the landscape is a sea of ​​roofs and the green mantle of the Casa de Campo in the background.

Across the corridor from the open terrace you come to the view to the south . From here we can see, among many other buildings, the Círculo de Bellas Artes and the Palacio de Cibeles .
