In Smiley Dusty, I play as Emily, returning home late on a stormy night in March of 2000. After a long day of school and volunteer work, she expects comfort — but instead finds her house completely empty. Her family left suddenly for an important event, leaving her behind in a place that no longer feels warm… or safe.
As Emily explores the home, strange things begin to happen. Whispers. Shifts in the dark. And something lurking that clearly isn’t human.
Whatever is hunting her wants one thing — and she’s trapped inside with it.
