This workout is designed to mimic the type of fitness you’ll need on the job, a mix of cardio, carrying, and dragging under fatigue.

The Workout:
Every 5 minutes x 5 rounds:
🏃 400m Run
💪 50m Farmers Carry (around bodyweight)
🔥 50m Sled Drag (around bodyweight)
Rest with whatever time you have left in the 5-minute window before starting the next round.
Why it works:
✅ The run builds aerobic capacity and recovery
✅ Farmers carries improve grip, core, and full-body strength (think hose carries and kit moves)
✅ Sled drags replicate casualty drags and low pressure hose drags
✅ The structure teaches you to work hard under pressure, then recover quickly
This is firefighter-specific conditioning that builds the engine, the strength, and the resilience you’ll need for the job.
