Story beats: Shellington discovers the reef is turning white and identifies the Crown of Thorns Starfish swarm. Captain Barnacles calls for an urgent rescue mission to relocate the starfish. The Octonauts launch the Gup-A and Gup-B into the heart of the thorny carpet. Kwazii gets trapped against a wall of venomous spines by a sudden current. Tweak and Shellington develop a Siren Pulse and Slick-Sheet to safely loosen the starfish. Captain Barnacles uses the pulse to release the starfish without harming them or the coral. The team successfully relocates the swarm to a deep-sea trench. The crew plants new coral fragments to help the reef heal and celebrates with a Creature Report.
