"In the morning an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) exploded as the British convoy passed and they (the British) went there near the armoured vehicle."

STORYLINE:
A British armoured personnel carrier was hit by a suspected roadside bomb on Friday, a spokesman for the British military said.
There were no reports of casualties.
AP Television News footage showed the vehicle ablaze with thick, black smoke billowing from it.
Majid Nadum Khaz'al, who said he witnessed the incident, said an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) had exploded as a British convoy was passing.
British troops could be seen securing the site.
A spokesman for the British military, said there were no casualties and no injuries.
