Aiden Holloway scored 17 points and Amari Allen added 16 as No. 25 Alabama defeated LSU 90-83 on Saturday for its sixth straight victory.

Alabama built momentum behind its perimeter shooting, entering the game ranked second nationally in 3-pointers per game. The Crimson Tide connected on 10 3-pointers, marking their eighth consecutive game with double-digit makes from beyond the arc.

The game remained competitive through much of the first half, but Alabama created separation midway through the second. An 8-0 run, sparked by 3-pointers from Allen and Latrell Wrightsell Jr., pushed the lead to 63-49 with 13:39 remaining.

LSU continued to battle back, trimming the deficit to six points on multiple occasions. The Tigers pulled within 89-83 on a Marquel Sutton dunk with 14 seconds left, but Alabama closed it out at the free-throw line.

Wrightsell finished with 14 points for the Crimson Tide (20-7, 10-4 SEC), while Aiden Sherrell recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds. London Jemison also added 12 points.

Sutton led LSU (14-13, 2-12 SEC) with 21 points. Jalen Reed scored 14, PJ Carter had 13, Rashad King added 12, and Pablo Tamba contributed 10 points and 12 rebounds.

The win marked Alabama’s sixth straight overall and its sixth consecutive victory over LSU.
