Lefty's Alley & Eats (Lewes DE), 4K arcade walkthrough & tour, August 2024

Описание: Lefty's Alley & Eats is an upscale bowling alley, restaurant, and family entertainment center located in Lewes, Delaware, just a few miles outside of the beachside resort town of Rehoboth Beach. We stopped in for a few minutes to check it out this past Friday, and ended up spending a couple hours here instead!

Walking in, it's clear they spent a lot of time and money to make this place look attractive. The vibe of the place is relaxed and yet, still, a little bit bougie. The decorative elements like the bowling ball lollipops and water bubble wall add a bit of whimsy, but ultimately, it's about the games, right? Like most other FECs these days, there's definitely an emphasis on redemption games, with a large amount of claw machines, coin pushers, and button-smashers. Not going to fault them for that. The nice part is that it's not EXCLUSIVELY these sorts of games. There's a few shooters like Halo and Jurassic Park, the excellent Asphalt 9 Deluxe game is here for racing, StepManiaX was a pleasant surprise (especially when it's in great condition and online), and there were even a pair of pinball machines in the far back lava lamp lounge room!

While we had a lot of miles left on our trip, we didn't end up sampling the food here in favor of continuing on down to Ocean City, MD, but we definitely plan on making a return visit in the future and trying that out as well as some of the other experiences, like bowling, karaoke, axe throwing, cornhole, and more!
