Описание: The 6th China-India Strategic Economic Dialogue concluded in New Delhi on Monday. China and India are the world's two most populous countries and largest emerging economies. Although their ties have ups and downs, this relationship has ramifications to the region and the world. Since the milestone meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2018, the two neighbors have been on a path to enhance cooperation. Amid ongoing trade tensions between China and the U.S., both Beijing and New Delhi are looking for ways to ward off downward economic pressure. China was India's biggest trading partner in 2018, and India is keen to close the trade deficit by exporting more to China. Furthermore, in multilateral efforts such as RCEP and the BRI, China and India still have room to cooperate.
