Описание: On Sept. 27th, 2025, I spent my entire day chasing former Norfolk & Western 4-8-4 class J #611 on the line between Goshen, VA and Staunton, VA for two trips as part of my first real chase. This was my first time traveling to Staunton, VA and Goshen, VA, and there were a handful of likeminded railroad photographers and enthusiasts that were great company. Despite the rain at times, it did let up when both trains were underway thankfully. I did add additional footage when 611 did the photo charter in October 2019 that will part of another video and a brief shakedown run in May of 2023 with a caboose as it would be the final few months that 611 would operate at Strasburg before heading back to the Virigina Museum of Transportation. Sincere thanks to the Virginia Museum of Transportation, the N&W Railroad Historical Society, Steam Railroad Institute, NRHS, and to all others that made this possible. I made this video in honor of Arthur “Art” Bixby for making it possible for future generations to appreciate railroad history & technology.
