Unable to understand, your foolish heart lingers, out of her sight, refusing to give up, and though you try to walk away, your heart won't let you, clinging to some lost chance she'd be coming back, despite seeing her happy with him. "However Long and Hard the Road." But in the end, should you find she was never coming back, you knew you'd loved her the way you should have. As if there were some sort of solace to be had.
