How did Levi Strauss & Co. engineer a turnaround over the past couple of years? CEO Chip Bergh says it came down to an intense focus on the brand, restoring interest in the company's iconic jeans.
"We have something going for us that nobody else has got: We're the original," he says. "A lot of consumers, especially millennials and Gen Z, they'd rather have fewer items in their closet that are more versatile and that really have lasting value."
